Proposed Attorney Advertising Guideline 4 - Comments Due March 1, 2006.
This guideline has not yet been officially adopted. It is open for comment. Proposed Attorney Advertising Guideline 4 describes appropriate and inappropriate uses of client testimonials. Perhaps most importantly this guideline prohibits using any testimonial that describes the quality of the attorney's work.

Opinion 2003-6 - This Opinion advises the inquirer that Targeted Direct Mail advertisments are permissible provided the Pennsylvania Rules of Professional Conduct are followed.

Opinion 88-27 - This Opinion is a general look at the State's interest as it relates to attorneys and Direct Mail Advertising. Judge Lord states " these interests are not necessarily advanced by prohibiting all direct mailing."
